Job Title: Diagnostician
Department: Special Programs
Reports To: Special Education Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for reviewing referrals evaluation to determine appropriate interventions; assess students when an individual evaluation is recommended; ensure that legal requirements for evaluation are met and the evaluation report is shared with campus staff and parents; attend ARDC/IEP meetings to review initial evaluations and interpret the educational implications of initial evaluation and reevaluations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree and Educational Diagnostician Certification
- At least 2 years of previous experience working in a school setting
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Long periods of sitting at a desk and working on the computer
- Willing to travel frequently within the District
- This position will work a 207 day work schedule during the fiscal year
